Product images for a dropshipping store

Supplier pages show small copies of their photos: 405 pixels wide on Shein, 260 on TikTok Shop, 220 on AliExpress search. Those look soft on a Shopify product page, and most stores want square images. The full-size file is on the same image server; only the address changes.

Method 1: Edit the image address (no install)

Open the image in a new tab and change the end of the address:

Shein…/abc_thumbnail_405x552.jpg…/abc.jpg (1340 px in our test)

This is fine for one product. For twenty products with eight photos each, it is an afternoon.

Method 2: Every product in one ZIP

  1. Add PixLasso to Chrome or Edge.
  2. Open each supplier product page in its own tab.
  3. Click the PixLasso icon, choose All tabs and keep Folder per tab on.
  4. Set Min size to 300px to skip icons, logos and review avatars.
  5. For store-ready files, choose Save as: JPG, a Max size such as 2000 px, and Square, white.
  6. Click Download. You get one ZIP with a folder per product, numbered in page order.

AliExpress originals work in every version. Shein and TikTok Shop originals, and the square option, come with version 0.1.2. Saving originals is free up to 30 images per download; JPG conversion, resizing and squaring a whole batch are part of Pro, a single payment.

Can you use supplier photos?

Only with your supplier's permission. Many dropshipping suppliers allow it for the products you sell, but the photos still belong to them, and a marketplace can remove a listing that copies another brand's images. Check the supplier's terms before you publish.
