How to download all images from a Shopify store

Shopify themes ask the CDN for a resized copy of each product photo, so "Save image as" often gives you a 300 to 600 pixel file. The uploaded original sits at the same address without the size part.

Method 1: Edit the image URL

Open the photo in a new tab. The address ends with a size, either as a parameter such as &width=300 or in the file name such as _600x.jpg. Delete that part and reload to get the original.

Method 2: The product .json

Add .json to a product URL, for example /products/mens-tree-runners.json. The response lists the product's images with their full cdn.shopify.com addresses under images. Copy them into a download manager.

Method 3: The whole page into one ZIP

In a test on 23 October 2026, PixLasso found 43 images on an Allbirds product page (a Shopify store), 32 of them as full-size originals. All 12 sample files downloaded into a valid ZIP.

  1. Add PixLasso to Chrome or Edge and open the page.
  2. Click the PixLasso icon, then Deep scan so it scrolls the page and collects images that load late.
  3. Set Min size to 300px to skip icons and avatars. Images with an HD badge are the full-size originals.
  4. Click Download. You get one ZIP, numbered in page order, converted to JPG if you choose.

The free version saves up to 30 images per download. See how other sites did on the works-with page.

Copyright

Product photos belong to the store or its photographer. Backing up your own store is the usual reason to do this; putting another store's photos on your listings needs their permission.
